Snapshots and Scenes from October 2017

Two of my goals for this year were to learn to use my camera and to start making videos.  I’ve tried a few things on my camera and played about with non auto settings but I’m yet to move away from Auto properly.  Since coming back from our holiday in September I have made three videos including the one below and I’m so proud of them.  Joining in with this link just gives me the perfect excuse to take and share more photos and to practise making videos of our adventures.  They’re just brilliant for the boys to watch back and to have as wonderful family memories.  So here are our Snapshots and Scenes from October 2017.

October was all about Autumn fun. Pumpkin picking, a walk to discover somewhere new, half term with lots of chocolate and grading at karate to get the next belt. Have a watch of our video below and I’d love it if you’d subscribe to our channel if you enjoy what you see:

And now here are some photos from the last month:

Just back from trick or treating

I’m so excited to link up with Kerri-Ann, Hayley, JennyAmber, Sara-Jayne, Maria, Mel & Chloe and share these moments and I hope you enjoy looking through them and watching our video.

Also if you enjoyed our video you can see more from our day at the Pumpkin field here.

Thanks for reading x

  1. I love that you filmed at the pumpkin field, it was the one part of our month that I forgot to film :(. Lovely to have you join in, looks like you had a great month

    1. Thank you, it’s so lovely to be able to put these posts together and have the memories like this x

  2. Loving the amount of little bird stuff going on here! Well done on the karate belt ?

    1. Thank you, just love the bright colours, I used to be totally obsessed but now the boys are at school I have it more under control!! x

    1. Thank you I loved putting this post and video together, already thinking about the next one! xx

    1. It was our very first time at the Pumpkin patch and so glad we got in there early 🙂

  3. I also find my little monthly videos a great thing to look back on, and the other day, instead of watching Peppa Pig on YouTube, Wriggly chose to watch all our Snapshots and Scenes videos. She kept pointing and giggling. That was a priceless moment. I also find them perfect for my friends and family abroad, who can follow our daily adventures. I love the way your boys pose together and their clothes, oh the clothes… I am in love with Little Bird too, and I am mourning the fact it’s almost too small for my little man now (I wish Joules Oliver was making clothes for all ages, adults included!). xxx
