Teriyaki Salmon

My boys love this. We’re big fans of fish in this house and eat it at least twice a week.  Salmon and tuna are our favourites. This recipe is so simple. I like to make it at lunch time so it can marinade in the fridge for a few hours.  You can eat this with a stir fry with noddles or rice or why not try it with potatoes and green veg.

Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients

3-4 salmon fillets

3 tbsp Tamari soy sauce

1 tbsp Rice wine or mirin

1 tbsp honey

1 cm fresh ginger or 1 heaped tsp ginger puree

2 cloves of garlic or 1 tbsp garlic puree

Method

Wash the salmon fillets and check for bones

Combine all the other ingredients in a mug or small bowl mixing with a spoon.

Pour over the salmon fillets and put into the fridge to marinate for at least 3 hours.

Pre-heat the over to 200 degrees C (fan) and put the salmon on a lined baking tray.  Cook in the over for 10 minutes. Serve as desired.

Let me know if you try this. I hope you enjoy it as much as Ethan & Oliver.
