An hour in Nottingham with my boys – {The Ordinary Moments}

  *This post was originally published on my old site on February 5th, 2017*

  Daddy was doing his volunteering yesterday so it was just me and the boys all day.  I decided we could go for a walk in town and have a look round the vegan market which runs on the first Saturday of the month as I hadn’t been since summer last year.

The weather was beautiful.  The sun was out and we were all wrapped up. The boys had grabbed their sunglasses before we left the house too!  We walked round and looked at all the stalls and the boys were fascinated by the skateboarders and the fountains in the square.

We then had a walk up through Hockley to The National Videogame Arcade which we discovered a few weeks ago. It’s free to walk in to the downstairs gallery and shop but if you want access to the three floors of interactive games you can pay and spend all day there.  The boys wanted to play on the Ninja Turtles game we had played on before so we spent half an hour there and then walked back to the car via a few charity shops.

It was lovely to get out the house for a bit and go to a bit of town that’s not too busy even on a Saturday.  The boys wanted to go home for lunch so we didn’t end up eating at the market in the end, we’ll save that for next time.

Hope you enjoyed reading about our little trip out 🙂
