Moving House – A Survival Guide

we moved into our old house in 2007, we moved from a rented and furnished flat. The only furniture we owned was a bed that I had kept at my parent’s house. We were fortunate at the time that we could afford to carry on renting the flat for a couple of months while we started doing renovations to the house and moved the little bit of stuff we had in gradually, needing only our car to transport it.

Love Corn – Our Family’s New Favourite Snack

With two hungry growing boys in the house, we are always looking for new foods to offer them. They always have their head in the pantry searching for a snack and will more often than not pull out a chocolate biscuit or a packet of crisps. Love Corn offered to send us some of their snack bags to try and I jumped at the chance to give the twins (and their Dad!) something healthier to graze on.

How To Keep Your Car In The Best Condition Possible

Owning a car is a costly business. Insurance, road tax, MOT, servicing, repairs, petrol, it all adds up. We only have one car at our house and because I use it for work and the school runs, I am the one that drives it almost every day. When it comes to keeping the car clean and tidy, I’m not the best but in terms of routine maintenance I try my (with help from my partner) hardest to make sure that I keep on top of keeping the car at its best.

Me & Mine Project {October 17}

This month the boys have been loving eating and drinking all the chocolate at our meals out at Bill’s and Timmermans Garden Centre, swimming and going down the big slide with Nana pushing the wheelbarrow at the pumpkin patch, trick or treating and spending a little bit of their pocket money on new pens and a small toy.
