For the boy's birthday we decided to go to Clip 'n Climb Nottingham. They really enjoyed it although it took Oliver a while to get his confidence up to let go and drop down. Matteo wants to have a go if we go again. We then went for a pub meal with my Mum & Dad and my brother and his girlfriend and then back home for tea and chocolate birthday cake. The day of their birthday was a Monday so the boys were at school but they enjoyed being sung to and took raisins in for all their classmates.
You’ll be snorting with laughter if you play with these piggy games for Christmas. The original party animals, Pass the Pigs, use hilarious pigs for dice. Will you roll a sider or start makin' bacon? Having fun with friends, on the road entertainment, or just chilling out - the game is on for every pig in the parlour! Fantastic fun for the whole family, Pass the Pigs is so easy to play. Simply throw the 2 piggies up in the air and see how they land. Compare the pigs landing positions with your scorecard and earn points, the first to 100 wins.
I have to admit I'm lazy with putting cream on my body as it's always cold coming out the shower and i just want to get straight in my pyjamas instead of putting some cold product on my skin but I have to keep it up if I want it to feel better. I also avoid any products with SLS or parabens which can irritate and dry out the skin, concentrating on more natural toiletries.
1. Sara Miller Travel Mug - I saw this quite a while ago but as my current mug is still working well and not leaking I haven't got round to buying it. My Cath Kidston now is starting to look quite worn and has lost nearly all its design from being held every day. I love the Flamingo design on this mug. She also has a cosmetic purse and pencil case in the same design that are lovely.
The last four weeks have included Half Term. The boys went to Nana and Grandad's for three days and enjoyed going swimming twice, jumping in and going down the big slide. I had the end of the week off so we had three days together and enjoyed a breakfast out in town, going to the cinema to see The Jungle Bunch and a trip to the garden centre for cake. At the end of the week we carved pumpkins for halloween. The boys drew a picture and asked me to transfer it on to their pumpkin. You can see us picking the pumpkin in last month's Siblings project post here.
October was all about Autumn fun. Pumpkin picking, a walk to discover somewhere new, half term with lots of chocolate and grading at karate to get the next belt.
Same as our wardrobe, our skincare routine needs a change as well. We’ll put away our tinted moisturizers and pink lipsticks, and pick more luxurious creams, and bolder makeup. Today I want to talk to you about just that – how to freshen up your fall beauty routine and give yourself a radiant appearance whenever you walk out the door. So, sit down, relax, and let’s exchange some tips.
The weather was beautiful. The sun was out and we were all wrapped up. The boys had grabbed their sunglasses before we left the house too! We walked round and looked at all the stalls and the boys were fascinated by the skateboarders and the fountains in the square.
This soup will store in an airtight container for a couple of days in the fridge or in the freezer for a few months. The recipe below serves two adults and two children with one portion left over for a lunch or dinner another day.
